About IOL Solver (PEARL-DGS)
An online calculator for the PEARL-DGS intraocular lens formula, built with thick lens equations and machine learning models that predict posterior corneal radius and lens position. Separate modes handle regular eyes, complex eyes after LASIK, PRK, radial keratotomy or ICL or with non-physiological corneas, and second eyes using the first eye's outcome. A toric IOL mode is included.
What it does
- Regular mode for unoperated eyes
- Complex mode for post-LASIK, post-PRK, post-RK and ICL eyes
- Second-eye mode using first-eye refractive outcome
- Toric IOL calculation
- Accepts total keratometry and measured posterior corneal radius
- Development method and code published with the AJO paper
