About Behind the Knife Oral Board Simulator
An AI examiner runs mock oral board cases one question at a time, either by voice in real time or typed at your own pace. Examiner mode is a timed test with no hints, Mentor gives guidance as you work through the same cases, and Proctor analyzes a recording of your own mock exam. Scoring follows the seven ABS essential attributes and the SCORE curriculum, and the specialty picker also lists OB/GYN, colorectal, cardiothoracic, pediatric, vascular, surgical oncology and surgical critical care.
What it does
- Examiner mode: timed, unscripted, no hints
- Mentor mode with guidance during the case
- Proctor mode: record your own or a free exam for feedback
- Spoken real-time or written turn-based exams
- Scores on the seven ABS essential attributes
- Study plans and drills after each test
